2025 Free Social Studies & Fin Lit Workshops for K-12 KS Teachers

he Kansas Council for Economic Education, in partnership with the Center for Economic Education at Wichita State University is pleased to again offer our annual workshops at Wichita State University.

This year, the sessions will run back-to-back so that we can offer 2 workshops in 3 days! Teachers can sign up for one or both workshops.

These workshops offer:

  • Graduate Credit from Wichita State for those who qualify.
  • Housing on campus at Wichita State (must RSVP by June 10)
  • Meals (breakfast/lunch) and snacks
  • Hands-on, standards-based lesson plans and supplemental materials

Your $20 registration fee will be refunded in full on-site upon completion of the workshop(s) you attend. Graduate credit is available from WSU with scholarships for the full price of tuition available for those who qualify on a first-come, first-served basis. These are available for certified Kansas teachers who teach economics, social studies, personal finance, or related topics.
